Digitizing workflow
in the field (offline):
- using the DiversityCollection management system with all features in the field; imaging
- metadata replication; multi-media data upload
in the natural science collections (offline):
- discovering of the physical collection object at the storage location
- making a new data entry or selecting an already existing DiversityCollection data entry by pencil barcode scanner or integrated barcode scanner
- adding new information to DC data entries, e.g. new storage location
- imaging the documents and labels kept with the specimen
- metadata replication; multi-media data upload
