in the field (offline):

• using the DiversityCollection management system with all features in the field; imaging
• data replication

in the natural science collections (offline):

• discovering of the physical collection object at the storage location
• making a new data entry or selecting an already existing DiversityCollection data entry by pencil barcode scanner or integrated barcode scanner
• adding new information to DC data entries, e.g. new storage location
• imaging the documents and labels kept with the specimen
• data replication; multi-media data upload
